Our Story

It started with friendship.

In 2015, at EPSU KNUST, we were simply two people who happened to attend the same church. Neither of us knew that an ordinary friendship would eventually become the beginning of our forever.

Over the years, our friendship grew naturally. By 2019, we had become much closer, and then came 2020, a year that changed so much for everyone. For us, lockdown gave us even more time to talk. We spent countless hours on the phone, talking about anything and everything. Somewhere between the laughing, the real talks, and always having each other’s back, we became the kind of friends who just get each other.

Then life took us both across the world to the United States. Even in a new country, with all the challenges and uncertainties that came with living abroad, we continued to find our way back to each other through conversations, encouragement, and friendship.

In 2024, we finally met in person again for the first time since 2019. And this time, something felt different. We began to wonder if the friendship we had built over all those years could be something more.

In 2025, we went on our first date. It wasn’t long before we made it official and began the next chapter of our story—not just as friends, but as a couple.

Since then, it has been a joy to fall in love with someone who was already a friend. To laugh together, navigate life together, support each other, and continue learning what it means to build a life side by side.

And now, after years of friendship, countless conversations, different seasons, and a love that grew naturally along the way, we are choosing each other for a lifetime.

From friendship to love, and from love to forever.

We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with our families, friends, and everyone who has been part of our journey.
